When Ray was 3 his mom left without saying a thing, leaving him with long-lasting issues. This made it harder for him to make friends, he pushed everyone away out of fear that they'd get close and they'd end up leaving him. He tried to push Noah away but he just never left Ray alone. By junior year he finally realized that he was only making his life worse by doing all of this, so he finally let his wall down and started hanging out with Noah more. That was the best decision of his life.

Ray has pretty much dedicated his life to Elton John. That's what led him to be in a band with Noah. He absolutely adores playing the piano, but adores his husband, Noah, and their daughter Quinn even more.
